Knight of the Month for July: Pat Floegel

Pat has been a member of our council since 2010 and has been very active behind the scenes. He started the BOGOGO program 13 years ago and has been coordinating the BOGOGO (Buy One, Get One, Give One) ministry since its inception, donating the food to the parish’s community partner, the Sharing Center. He also donates some of that food to some of our brother Knights through our Council Brothers Food Assistance program. Pat serves as a Eucharistic minister at many weekend masses. He has also been very involved in the parish Outreach ministry and in the words of one of the staff members, he shows great compassion inmeeting with the people to assess their needs. Pat is very involved in the small group program and has been very involved in our festivals doing whatever is needed. He has also been a member of the parking team for many of our feast days.

Family of the Month for July: Ricardo & Ana Diaz Cano

We are proud to recognize Ricardo and Ana Diaz Cano as our July Family of the Month! Ricardo and Ana exemplify dedicated service to our parish, school, and our council. Active members of the Saint Mary Magdalen school community, the Diaz Family are deeply committed to supporting couples throughout the parish. They regularly assist with parish marriage dinners and serve as a mentor couple, helping lead Pre-Cana marriage preparation for engaged couples embarking on their holy matrimony journey. Service and teamwork run in the family—during our May membership drive, Ricardo’s son stepped up to design and build the sign-up system that made the event a success. Thank you to Ricardo, Ana, and their family for their continuous leadership, service, and witness
to faith and family!
